A BA in Economics degree takes four years of full-time study. Students need to complete 240 credit hours by taking General Education courses, Economics major courses, and elective courses which may be combined with a minor in another discipline.

– Required economics major courses (96 credits)

– Internship (6 credits)

– General education courses (106 credits)

– Electives (32 credits), including electives from Economics department

No more than 102 credits should be earned of Introductory (100-level) courses. To graduate, student should also successfully pass the History of Kyrgyzstan State Exam and complete and defend a senior thesis.
