Financial aid for graduate students

Applicants for MSc in Economics program can apply for financial aid. It might range from 10% to 70% depending on maths examination scores. There are teaching and research assistantship positions which also might contribute to the financial aid.

90% of current students received financial aid. To apply for it, an applicant first needs to pass general AUCA admission tests (look at section Admission) and then take a separate maths examination and get interviewed by the Head of the Department.

How to apply for financial aid?
The Economics program provides financial aid for up to 70% of the tuition fee, depending on two factors

1) the results of a separate exam in mathematics, which we conduct in June-July, depending on the number of applicants for the end of June

2) the commitment of the student to work at the department as an assistant (we have the teaching teaching and research assistant positions) during his studies.

To get the maximum discount, you need to get more than 90 points (out of 100) on the exam and agree to work 5-8 hours per week at the department.

The math exam at a discount includes topics: linear algebra, matrices, first and second degree derivatives, systems of equations, integrals, and function evaluation.

We offer a 50% discount to all applicants that apply and submit their documents by April 30, a 20% discount to all that submit their documents by June 30.
