Joint research conference of NMBU, AUCA, and KNAU

On April 20-27, AUCA Economics Program held joint research conference with researchers from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences and Kyrgyz National Agrarian University.

The Conference was part of the “Strengthening Graduate Curriculum and Research in Economics and Agribusiness” project, sponsored by DIKU (Norwegian Agency for International Cooperation and Quality Enhancement in Higher Education).

Researchers presented their current projects on various topics, including international trade, migration and human capital, climate change, pastoralism, food values, financial and commodity markets, innovation in agri-food market, and school meals.

The conference participants also met students that have participated in the AUCA-NMBU exchange program in last seven years. Within the project, more than 30 students from AUCA (12 of them from MSc in Economics program) spent one semester in Norway during their studies.
